This guide explains Statement 6 of 6 in the Blackboard Module Accessibility Statements. It is an opportunity to explain any other steps the teaching team have taken to support accessibility and inclusion in the Blackboard module, or to share messages about your ongoing accessibility journey with students.

Why this matters
This is a chance for the teaching team to share good practice with their students and help them understand the actions the team are taking to make this module as accessible as possible. Transparency about these efforts can encourage students to engage, provide feedback, and request support when needed.
Review and implementation checklist
Statement 6 asks the teaching team if there is anything else they have done or are planning to do to improve the accessibility of the Blackboard module. What other steps has the teaching team taken beyond those mentioned in the accessibility statement so far?
If you have a good example, select Yes. Provide clear, constructive details that help students understand your approach but avoid sharing confidential or identifying information about students.
How to complete Statement 6 in practice
- Go to your Blackboard Ultra module.
- Open Module Accessibility Statement.
- Locate Statement 6 and enter your response.
- Publish or confirm updates so students can view them.
