As of June 17th 2024, the Collaborate service has been retired in favour of using Microsoft (MS) Teams.
MS Teams now has the same core functionality of Collaborate whilst providing a much more stable and globally reliable platform to use. Microsoft is also committed to continuous improvement of the service and is planning on working closer with Blackboard for more integrated features.
We have also created an integration that enables you to create a MS Teams team based on your Blackboard enrollments that will automatically update for you. Panopto also has released a feature that allows your Teams recordings to be automatically recorded into the correct Blackboard course folder, meaning all video content for students can be in the same place.
