Staff and students can download the Blackboard mobile app to access Blackboard content on their personal mobile devices.
We do not recommend using the Blackboard Learn app if you are submitting assessments or taking a test. The app does not support all the functions of Blackboard Original courses.
Quick Start for the Blackboard App
In the Blackboard Learn app, you can perform these tasks:
Instructor
- Preview course items, assignments, and tests
- Create and upload course content
- Participate in discussions
- Send announcements
- Grade assignments and update assessment settings
- Change item settings for assessments and other content
- Work with both Original and Ultra courses
Student
- View course items and course announcements
- Take assignments and tests
- Participate in discussions
- Access both Original and Ultra courses
Help
While logged in, you can access help resources by selecting the More menu, then either About or Help Center.
Notification Settings
You can set your notification settings in the app or by accessing the course activity page for Blackboard in your browser.
