Staff Guide: Include another colleague, organiser, moderator or collaborator to help you set up polls, present to your participants, or help with moderation of the Q&A board.
Merging accounts
You cannot merge accounts but if you have access to both accounts, you can share your content from your old account to your new account.
Once a session is shared, you can make the new account the “owner” of the session so that your new account has full editing rights over the session.
Adding an organiser or colleague to my session
When you create a new Vevox session you become the session ‘owner‘. Only you can view, edit or control the session.
If there are multiple users in your account you can share your session with them so they too can view, edit or control it. You might want to do this if you are co-hosting a session, giving a colleague access to download reports, sharing Q&A moderating responsibilities or controlling the polls.
- Go to your sessions list.
- On the session you want to share, press the ‘more options‘ (or three dots) icon.
- Select ‘Settings‘.
- Select the ‘Sharing‘ tab.
- Under ‘Session sharing‘ start typing the name of the person you would like to make a co-host.
- Select the person from the list of names that appear.
- Press ‘Save‘.
Change the ownership of a session
When you create a new Vevox session you become the session ‘owner’. Only you can view, edit, control, or delete the session.
Once you share the session with a colleague, they can view, edit, or control it. But they cannot ‘unshare‘ the session with you or delete it.
It is possible to transfer the ownership of a session to someone else due to a person leaving the company, changing job roles or wanting someone else to continue with the Vevox session in future.
- To to the session list and select the three dots.
- Click on ‘Change owner‘.
- Select the colleague’s name & press ‘Save‘.
- Then press ‘Yes‘ to the popup confirming you want to change ownership.
- The session will now automatically appear in their dashboard in the session list and will be removed from your own session list.
Co-hosts or colleagues of a shared meeting will no longer be able to delete a session.
