Link to your course
You can use the course Announcements to contact course members. Announcements include a link back to the Blackboard course.
If you need to share a link to the course you can simply copy the course URL:
- Go to the Blackboard course.
- Copy the URL address of the course page. Right-click (Shift-F10) inside the address bar and select copy.
- Anyone enrolled on your course can follow the link to the course.
Custom Blackboard courses can be set to enable Self-Enrol so you can send the course URL to anyone with a University of Southampton IT account and they will see a self-enrollment page. From there, students can join the course by selecting Submit.

Use Course Links to create internal shortcuts within a course.
Share the link and make it accessible
Embed the link in text that can be read out by a screenreader, rather than just pasting the ULR. Highlight some descriptive text and then select add link from the text editor menu.
